Noreaga of WakeUpProject has officially retired. Noreaga, one of the wup’s original founders and main directors, has decided to retire for good. He states the following regarding this decision; “I have accomplished everything i set out to do, and much more. Today the wakeupproject has the talent, the members, and the support to walk, run, and fly on its own. The WUP has helped establish a common ground amongst a global internet audience, that will continue to create projects based on unity and understanding. That will forever be one of my most cherished accomplishments. As many of you know, our online video database has been repeatedly hacked and erased, making it very hard for us to keep our videos available on this site. However the team has worked to secure and build a private server that will house all our current and future films permanently. We thank you for your patience and support. Spread the word.

After upgrading our security, those who's aim it is to silence the truth have intensified their efforts with a more powerful hack against the site. Please give us a few days as we re-launch this site better and stronger than ever. It will cost some extra cash, but at least we can upload all the videos in full working condition, and we can secure our forum as a strong and secure place for you to do what it is you love doing :-) Thanks for all the support and concern from all of you. ON February 9, we received a threat from user Cipherthelightisback regarding our work. On Feb 10 our website was taken down, all of it except for the forum since it belongs to another server. You may read further details in my forum entry under the Wake Up Project forum As of now, the site is back up. Our efforts have proved successful Al-Hamdulillah. The damage inflicted by the hack was discovered as a definite foreign intervention of some sort, but we were able to mend and remove the damage in a short amount of time. Thank you to all brothers/sisters in the online community who have helped in mending this. For now, site is back to normal, but we expect further interventions...
